At Art Basel Miami Beach 2018, Kasmin will present a booth of significant contemporary and modern artists from the gallery’s exhibition programme, including Judith Bernstein, Constantin Brancusi, William N. Copley, Stuart Davis, Max Ernst, Barry Flanagan, Jane Freilicher, David Hockney, Robert Indiana, Alex Katz, Lee Krasner, Claude Lalanne, Robert Motherwell, James Nares, Elliott Puckette, Joel Shapiro, Bosco Sodi, Frank Stella, Naama Tsabar, and Andy Warhol.

Returning to the fair for the 17th time since its inaugural edition, Kasmin’s presentation presents as a highlight William N. Copley’s Why Are You Staring, a large-format painting first exhibited in 1986 and included in the recent Fondazione Prada during the institution’s 2017 retrospective of the artist’s work.

Concurrent to the fair, ICA Miami presents The Coffin They Carry You Off In, an exhibition of earlier work by Copley that will be on view until May 2019.
