A doll bed and its dressings, lapis, sapphire, sodalite, kyanite, pyrite, the artists’ hair braids collected since fall of 2023 into the making of this work February 3-4 2024, love, slow care, the kitchen naps at the back of your head that roll over like a Cadillac— this is what my father would say, something about deep rest that is sweet, something about having to lay down with the blues, something about how to get back up— still with the blues
